I have a weird amount of time in a row that i’m not scheduled for work, so i was going to surprise my mom and fly out to ct for a couple of days for mother’s day since i could not do it for her birthday.

I pretty much got told no, that it wasn’t a good time(by my parents, not my workplace). i was really looking forward to it, and it was pretty much what got me through my little rough patch yesterday. More time for papers and stuff now.

if you love something, never do it for money. turning something you love into a job takes the magic out of it.

i’m not! it is just mother’s day over the weekend, and i’m knitting a tank for my mom. i know she won’t care if it is late, but it matters to me.
